Eligible Oklahoma organizations whose activities align with the mission of the Foundation are encouraged to apply for support.

Eligibility
Oklahoma nonprofit organizations that are engaged in charitable activities within a 50-mile radius of Ardmore are eligible to apply. Grants for specific projects and general operating expenses are considered. The organizations must be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization or be organized as a government entity or subdivision thereof.
Requests from individuals are not eligible for consideration.
How to Apply
Oklahoma non-profit organizations seeking to submit a request may initiate the process by sending an overview of the organization, explanation of the project, and the amount of the request to SOMF President, Mary Kate Wilson:

Following a review of the initial inquiry, a grant application will be sent via e-mail for completion.
Deadlines
The deadlines for returning the completed grant application — not requesting it — are:
- March 1
- June 1
- September 1
- December 1
Funding decisions are made by the Board of Trustees approximately eight weeks following the grant application deadline.
